Deep Conditioning Challenge 4/18/17 - 12/31/17

    These guidelines are copied from Hairlista's previous Deep Conditioning Challenge:

    1.Deep conditioning is required a minimum of once per week, on wet or dry hair. If you are wearing braids or weaves, once every two weeks would be fine.

    2. You can deep condition with heat for at least 30 minutes to an hour using the deep conditioner of your choice.

    3. Or you can deep condition without heat wearing a plastic cap from a couple of hours during the day or overnight and wash out the following morning.

    6. Check in at least once a week to update on how it's working for you. to avoid protein/moisture overload.

    7. Make sure you are balancing your protein and moisture so you will not get protein/moisture overload.

    **You don’t have to shampoo wash your hair to deep condition**

    Worried about too much manipulation? Here are some tips: Leave your hair in its bun/protective style while you rinse your hair and deep condition. This way you don't have to detangle, re-brush, re-smooth, and re-style your hair every time you deep condition.

    Challenge Levels:

    Beginner: Deep condition 1-2 times per week.

    Advanced: Deep condition 2-3 times per week.
